Various available options

With Alfresco version 4.x, to use Alfresco with Liferay, there are different options. Some of them are explained in the following sections.

Using web service

Alfresco supports web service that offers way to access Alfresco repository from any remote application. There are list of web service that comes with Alfresco to access file and folder from remote application. You can also develop your custom web service to satisfy your requirement to access content in Alfresco.
