Summary
In this chapter, we learned how to think about Zero Trust and how it fits into today’s digital age. We discussed what Zero Trust is, what problems it solves, and why it is critical to manage risk and opportunity from continuous changes in business models, technology estates, and security threats. We cleared up some common points of confusion, debunked some common myths, and can now relate cybersecurity and Zero Trust problems to their real-world impact.
In the next chapter, we will start to make it real by defining success criteria and a reference model for Zero Trust.
