In this project, we will make use of a Pulse Sensor Amped heart rate monitor, a Pimoroni Enviro pHAT, and a Pimoroni Scroll pHAT HD to create our own heart rate monitor, which will display our heart's BPM numerically and graphically on the Scroll pHAT HD.
If you are using the same Pi Zero for this project as you did for the previous project, desolder the six cables, which lead from the Pi Zero to the ADXL345 and Scroll pHAT HD, but leave your off switch and LED in place, as you may need to detach these from the case first. You will also need to desolder the cables to your Scroll pHAT HD as we will be reusing this; and remove the ADXL345 from the lid of your Pi Zero case. To deactivate the software running automatically, connect to your Pi Zero over SSH and issue the following command:
