This chapter brought a lot of technical factors to the plate. In this chapter, we learned how to protect our account with 2FA; customize our workspace both aesthetically and functionally; set the tone with customized features such as GIFs, emojis, and team bonding exercises; as well as how to manage our virtual storage. There are many mechanical features that come into play when working in a digital workspace, all of which are equally as important as the next, whether it's the color coordination of your Slack dashboard or the arrangement of your company's channels. We have come to master some of the basic tools of Slack in these first few chapters, and this will help prep us for what's to come.
