MuleSoft is an integration and API platform designed to form the backbone of a larger enterprise integration strategy. When properly leveraged, a solution such as MuleSoft can significantly reduce the time and cost of integration work at scale by creating consistent APIs across disparate technology solutions. In principle, when leveraging MuleSoft in an integrated solution instead of integrating each component point to point, each would be integrated with MuleSoft and MuleSoft would handle the orchestration between them.
