Using Design Center
Design Center is like the inbuilt library of AutoCAD blocks, which can be used to access frequently used blocks for your project. Design Center has blocks from different disciplines, such as mechanical, architecture, civil, and electrical. In this section, we will learn how to use Design Center to access these blocks, and we will also learn how to use it to access blocks from our own drawings.
In the following example, we will explore different parts of the Design Center tool:
- To open Design Center, select the Design Center tool from the Palettes panel of the View tab, as shown in the following screenshot, or use its command alias, ADC. You can also use the Ctrl + 2 keyboard shortcut to open Design Center:
