Why an on-premises Mule runtime?

An on-premises Mule runtime is widely used by organizations that have a requirement for a high level of privacy and security where they don’t allow the setting up of anything outside their organization’s data center. In such cases, you can leverage an on-premises Mule runtime.

With an on-premises Mule runtime, you have complete control over the runtime plane and underlying infrastructure for running the Mule application. You are completely responsible for managing the underlying infrastructure, networks, load balancers, and so on.
