Managing Org-Wide App Settings
Effective management of app settings across an organization is important for maintaining security and ensuring a seamless user experience. As a Teams Administrator, you can control the availability and functionality of both third-party and custom apps such as Adobe Acrobat, YouTube, or Jira, or those created by your organization’s members.
Exercise 8.1
The following exercise will help you manage org-wide app settings:
- To start, ensure you have access to the Microsoft Teams admin center by navigating to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com. Access is restricted to users with Global Administrator or Teams Administrator roles, ensuring that only authorized personnel can make significant changes to app settings.
- Once logged in, go to the Teams apps section and select Manage apps from the left navigation menu, as shown in Figure 8.1.
