Managing Org-Wide App Settings

Effective management of app settings across an organization is important for maintaining security and ensuring a seamless user experience. As a Teams Administrator, you can control the availability and functionality of both third-party and custom apps such as Adobe Acrobat, YouTube, or Jira, or those created by your organization’s members.

Exercise 8.1

The following exercise will help you manage org-wide app settings:

To start, ensure you have access to the Microsoft Teams admin center by navigating to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com. Access is restricted to users with Global Administrator or Teams Administrator roles, ensuring that only authorized personnel can make significant changes to app settings.
Once logged in, go to the Teams apps section and select Manage apps from the left navigation menu, as shown in Figure 8.1.
