Time for action – embedding a video into a Moodle Page
Create a new Page resource and give it a name and a brief description. I'm going to call mine Instructions For Making Hydrogen.
I've started to add some text and an image to my instructions, and I am now at the point where I would like to include a video:
Let's insert the video file I've just uploaded. To do that I'm going to position the cursor at the bottom of the edit box, then I'm going to press the Moodle Media button to display the Insert/edit embedded media dialog:
Click on the Find or upload a sound, video or applet… link. The File picker is displayed, but only showing repositories that are relevant to sound and/or video. The file I need to pick out is in My private files:
Note that I can use the Upload a file link in the list of repositories to upload my video if I wanted too, but I find it easier to upload to My private files first. Either way, use the File picker to navigate to your video file. Once you've found the file, click...
