Using the Titles effect

In some instances, it is necessary that we add text to explain a concept, introduce a material, or guide the viewer throughout the walk-through. In Lumion, we have an option to add text to the scene, but this always doesn't fulfill the requirements we have and it lacks diversity. However, it is possible to add text directly to a movie and control it using some remarkably simple settings. Let's see how we can use the Titles effect.

Getting ready

To apply this effect, we need at least one clip in the Movie mode.

How to do it…

To add text to your clip, perform the following steps:

  1. After you select the clip, you need to add a new effect.
  2. Click on the New effect button, and from the Style tab, select the Titles effect.
  3. A module is added to the movie interface, as you can see in the following screenshot:
