Chapter 9. Setting up an Online Shop

Shopping is one of the key activities we do in our day to day life. Nowadays, we do most of our shopping online. Liferay provides built-in support for setting up an online shop. We can easily configure an e-commerce website and sell our products.

In the bonus chapter, we will learn about the social collaboration features of Liferay. Using blogs, wikis, and the message board portlet, we will see how to configure the Neighbors Congress, Chamber of Commerce, and Neighborhood Arbitration Committee organizations in our CIGNEX Neighborhood portal.

In this chapter, we are going to build an online shop within our CIGNEX Neighborhood portal. By the end of this chapter, you will have learned how to:
