Forms provide us with a native way to quickly create, view, and edit forms so that we can modify the data within our data source. The setup of a form is very similar to that of a gallery or a data table, whereby we put the control on the page and select the data source. The form will automatically render the fields on the canvas for you. The main difference, however, is that forms can only be connected to an external data source; for example, a list within SharePoint.
When a form is placed on the canvas and connected to a data source, it will automatically render the key fields. The default state of the form is usually Edit, as shown in the following screenshot, which means that it will display the values of a selected item:
