Activity 10: Setting Up Alert Notifications in Kubernetes

Solution:

Perform the following steps to complete this activity:

1. Create an Incoming Webhook for the devops channel. Click on your username and then click on Customize Slack:

2. On the next page, click on Configure Apps, which will direct you to the following screen. Here, search for Incoming Webhooks, as follows:

3. Click on Add Configuration, as follows:

4. Select the channel that you want to set for the alerting notifications, and then click on Add Incoming WebHooks integration:

5. From the resulting page, note down the Webhook URL that will be used to configure Alertmanager:
