In this chapter, you have learned how to install MongoDB on your local machine, and you have used some basic MongoDB queries for CRUD operations on the MongoDB Shell. You also learned how to install and use the MongoDB driver to connect to MongoDB from the server-side framework, and you have written the code to perform CRUD operations in the Koa environment. Finally, you have created the front pages from the client side, Nuxt, for adding new users to the MongoDB database, and for updating and deleting existing users by communicating with the API that you have developed with Koa.
In the next chapter, we will explore the Vuex store and use it in Nuxt apps. You will learn about the Vuex architecture before installing it and writing a simple Vuex store in a Vue app. You will also learn about the Vuex core concepts, including the state, getters, actions, and modules, before writing a Vuex store in a Nuxt app with these concepts. We will guide you through them, so stay tuned.
