Working with Social Learning
In addition to the course discussions discussed in the previous section, Adobe Learning Manager also contains a full-fledged social learning engine. When activated, it provides an experience that bears many similarities to the most popular social networks:
- Learners can follow each other so they get notifications when someone they follow publishes something.
- Social learning posts are published on boards. The concept of boards is very similar to the concept of walls or stories, which are used by most mainstream social networks.
- Users can upvote (like) or downvote (dislike) any content posted.
- In addition to text-based posts, users can also publish multimedia content (such as audio files, videos, and images), files of different types, and URLs.
