Summary
In this chapter, we looked at how to use boosting to improve the relevance and importance of queries, documents, and individual fields. We also learned how to check why our document was found or not found, which can come in handy when dealing with relevance problems. We took a look at how synonyms can be used, how we can handle content in different languages, and finally how to use span queries to make queries where positions matter.
In the next chapter, we will take a look at nested objects and parent-child relationships and how to handle them. We will also discuss how to use batch indexing and modify our existing index structure.
