Additional modules for creating user accounts
Several other modules exist for streamlining the account creation process. If you have a large number of users to manage or if you are a system administrator at a school, you might want to look at these options:
Import users from a CSV file, such as User Import (http://drupal.org/project/user_import) or Feeds (http://drupal.org/project/feeds).
Integrate with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) (http://drupal.org/project/ldap). These modules include support for mapping LDAP groups to Drupal roles.
