Twitter integration
Twitter is the most popular microblogging site in the world and has gained tremendous momentum with its short 140-character format (hence our limitation on the text area to be compatible with both sites).
Creating our application
Similar to what we did with Facebook, we need to create an application on Twitter's servers in order to be able to interact with the service. We will then navigate to their developer's website at https://dev.twitter.com/apps.
Once we are on this page, we will click on the Create a new application button. We will then be redirected to a form in order to fill in all of the information related to our application, as given in the following table:
