Embedding Looker

Looker’s embed solution allows you to seamlessly integrate Looker dashboards, visualizations, and Explores into external applications and websites, bringing the power of data analysis to your own digital spaces. This means you can share your data insights and analysis beyond the Looker platform, directly enriching user experiences in other tools and platforms. You can embed Looker through an iframe or by leveraging the Embed SDK.

The iframe embedding options are as follows: private embedding, signed embedding, or signed embedding with the Embed SDK.

Getting ready

Open one of the Looker dashboards we created previously – for example, the one called Ecommerce Dashboard (or create a new dashboard following the instructions from Chapter 4). Open the URL https://sites.google.com/ to create a free website that we will need to embed Looker (when opening Google Sites, make sure you are connected with the same Google account you are using for Looker)...
