We have installed Git, Java JDK, and IDE, shown you how Spring Framework is installed, and finally installed Postman. We skipped the MySQL installation for now but we will get back to it once we introduce you to Spring data.
Dear reader, we have come to the end of the first chapter. We have learned how to set up and configure the environment for development. In the next chapter, we will make our first real steps into Spring Framework. We will explain what Spring is and why you need it! We will write some code, run it, and trigger our first API call.
