Adding details
We made enough basic shapes to form the ship. Now, we will continue by increasing the level of detail on the ship and adding more objects to the existing shapes. Here, we will improve the look of the ship without making it too sophisticated:
- Duplicate the face at the top of the nose with Shift + D and move it upward.

- Extrude the face downward with E and add a loop cut at the back of the shape. Remember to correct the normal with Shift + N after extruding.

- Extrude the face at the bottom of the loop we just created and use it to create a frame for the windshield. Figure 5.16 shows how to create the frame in four steps using extrusion.

- You may need to make the windshield wider or larger so it fits the frame better.
