Sharing Data within Civil 3D

Now that we understand the benefits of configuring styles and your overall drawing settings, along with the importance of template creation, we can begin diving into best practices for managing design files and modeled objects throughout the project design development phases.

As much as we’d all like to create and pack all Civil 3D objects into one file for an entire project, this concept just isn’t practical for 95% of projects you’ll work on, especially if there are many objects being modeled that require dynamic interaction.
