Manipulating shape parameters
Whenever you select a shape, the Shape Panel opens on the right side of your screen where you can find options to make the shape a solid or a hole, as well as change the color.
Below these options are what we call shape parameters, which allow us to manipulate our shapes with more precision and versatility. As you already know, you can drag the corners of a shape to change its size, but you can sometimes also find parameters to change the size within the Shape Panel as shown in Figure 4.14:

To change the size of a box, you could drag the slider for whichever parameter you want to adjust within the Shape Panel, or you can enter a specific size instead. The size you enter will be in whichever unit you are working with (millimeters, inches, blocks).
But the Shape Panel also often offers parameters that cannot be adjust elsewhere, such as adding a corner radius to...
