Utilizing Slack for support teams
Support teams vary in every organization, whether it is their entire job description or an additional factor that plays into their day-to-day work. No matter the makeup of the group, your support team is critical to your customer satisfaction and therefore, a critical part of your company. As we've mentioned, for any group that has an effect on your organization, support teams have a right to be a part of the conversation in your workspace, as any customer could. To communicate with your customers without leaving Slack, say it with me, we create a shared channel.
Creating a specified support channel is similar to designating a channel for your customer/client interactions. Name the channel appropriately so that members know the purpose and invite your support team and clients to work together in their new collaboration space.
