Two "Business Developments"
Although not technically part of the "future of SSL VPN technology", two important observations that should be made when discussing the future of SSL VPN are:
1. Many organizations that have purchased SSL VPNs initially deployed SSL VPN access to only small portions of their respective companies. It is likely that over the next few years these firms will roll out SSL VPN access to much greater portions of their entire organizations.
2. It is likely that there will be further consolidation of the SSL VPN marketplace with mergers and acquisitions of SSL VPN vendors quite probable.
