There are much bigger, deeper dives into security, but for the purpose of the exam, it's critical that you understand that security is key to all of Google's services and was not an afterthought. In this chapter, we covered a number of services that are offered to make sure that your GCP infrastructure is secure. We introduced Cloud Identity, covered the IAM model, and looked at encryption.
Exam tip: Remember that we should never grant a user or service more permissions than what's required. Always use the principle of least privilege.
