Implementing AuDG
In this section of the chapter, we will browse through some of the screenshots that will give us a sufficient idea of how to configure AuDG for your Autonomous Database and perform certain operations that we have learned about so far.
Now, let’s jump into the OCI console and start doing some of the operations. To begin with, let’s enable AuDG for your ADB instance.
Enabling AuDG
As we understood earlier, you can enable either a local or a cross-region standby Autonomous Database with an AuDG configuration, but before you can enable AuDG for your Autonomous Database instance, you must ensure that you have enough OCPU and storage resources in your tenancy across the AD and region in which you want to host the standby ADB instance.
