Summary

In this chapter, we reviewed the APEX SQL workshop, a built-in supportive environment that helps us with the database objects we are using in our applications. Using declarative and visual means utilizing AJAX and DHTML technologies; this environment gives us (both novice and experienced developers) dynamic tools to easily create, manage, and browse our application data infrastructure.

With this chapter we have concluded the first part of our book, in which we reviewed the basic APEX concepts and elements. In the next chapter, we'll start learning how to utilize all that we learned so far to develop a simple APEX application.
