Appendix B. Configuration Settings Reference
The objective of the Configuration Settings Reference is to provide you with a list of parameters that can be modified in config.php
and the impact that each of the values will have.
We will first look at config.php
and what types of parameters are supported by Moodle. After providing this overview, we will look at three types of configurations settings:
Administration settings
These are settings that are available via the Site Administration block, but can be locked with values specified in
config.php
.System settings
These are compulsory configuration values that have been created by the installer and are required for Moodle to function.
Theme settings
These are settings that influence the look and feel of Moodle.
