Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Network Observability
During the past several years, we have observed the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies to distill knowledge from data. In this chapter, we’ll uncover a few of the network observability use cases that can benefit from them.
With network observability empowered by AI/ML, we can process massive amounts of data and look for patterns that can lead to a human-like analysis, such as finding a common point of failure that explains why many unrelated events relate to the same issue. Even more, with ML, we can learn from these events to predict future similar situations and react to them preventively.
