Posting to my blog from Microsoft Word 2010
Blogs are a great communication tool. However, the experience of posting to a SharePoint blog using a web browser is a bit disappointing. Fortunately, you can post to your SharePoint blog straight from Microsoft Word 2010. You can utilize all the rich editing power that Word can offer than then post text, smart art, graphics, and pictures straight to your blog with a single click.

SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition
Office 365 (SharePoint Online)
This recipe uses the blog in your My Site for illustration. However, it will work for any SharePoint 2010 blog that you have the rights to post to. You will need Microsoft Word 2010 installed on your PC.
How to do it...
Open your My Site and navigate to the My Content page (Refer to the Creating a blog in my My Site recipe in case of doubts).
Click on the Blog link under the Sites heading on the quick-launch menu.
