Creating an Automation account for Azure Virtual Desktop
In this section, we will look at creating an Automation account for Azure Virtual Desktop. An Automation account is used to create runbooks that contain scripts that can automate processes to help you manage your Azure Virtual Desktop environment. Runbooks are extremely useful for automating repetitive tasks and batch processing, which can be quite time-consuming when carrying out such tasks manually.
Let’s get started by first creating an Automation account:
- Sign in to the Azure portal: https://portal.azure.com/.
- From the top menu, enter
automation
in the search bar and click Automation Accounts:
