Modern Rigging Techniques
In the previous chapter, we spent time working with the Asset Warp tool and explored the creation and management of Warped Objects using pins and envelope deformers.
In this chapter, we will expand upon additional capabilities of the Asset Warp tool and Warped Objects with a focus on modern rigging and the creation of complex armatures, making use of hard bones, soft bones, flexi bones, freeze joints, and more! Following an overview of bone types and the creation of modern rigs, we’ll put this into practice by animating a spooky tree with a variety of armatures and bone types.

- Use the Asset Warp tool to build modern rigs within Warped Objects.
- Make use of various bone and joint options within Warped Objects.
- Edit existing Warped Object rigs through the use of Rig Edit mode.
