Conclusion
As we have just seen, JMeter is suitable for the load testing of a web application. All this can be done in a rather simple way thanks to JMeter's powerful features and, in particular, the use of HTTP(S) Test Script Recorder acting as a proxy to record our scripts.
In addition, JMeter can be used and extended to perform technical and security testing. Note that these examples are not specific to the HTTP protocol and may be used for other protocols, as we will see in the next chapters.
