Time for action—using panning to spread the song out

We're going to create another pad preset in our ambience project, and write in some interesting parts. We can use panning creatively on the tracks to create an interesting sonic world for our listeners:

  1. From the same My Presets directory that we were in earlier, let's bring in the pad called 0002-sin2x pad.xiz, as shown in the following screenshot:

  2. Pan the previous pad that we have in the project towards the left-hand side, to -48 percent, as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. Pan the new pad that we just introduced in the project towards the right-hand side, to +48 percent, as shown in the following screenshot:

  4. Now let's create Instrument Track elements in both tracks, as shown in the following screenshot:

  5. Now open the Piano-Roll for the pad on the left-hand side of the screen, and write the notes shown in the following screenshot:
