Message Boards

In brief, Message Boards (portlet ID 19) is a full-featured forum solution with threaded views, categories, RSS capability, avatars, file attachments, previews, dynamic list of recent posts, and forum statistics. Message Boards work with the fine-grained permissions and role-based access control model to give detailed levels of control to administrators and users. This section will give examples of how to use, configure, and implement Message Boards.

In order to provide an environment for employees to discuss book ideas and proposals, we could use the Message Boards portlet of the Guest public pages as an example. In this section, suppose that we're using the Message Boards portlet for a page of Guest public pages. A category called will be created.
