Understanding goals

Goals within an automation are usually the actions we want people (internal or external) to take. Whether it’s filling out a form, making a purchase, or scheduling an appointment, these are all goals that guide contacts from your sales process to your fulfillment process. The following descriptions provide a quick overview of each goal you can use in an advanced automation.

Goals can be sorted into two categories: those completed by a contact and those completed by a Keap user.

Goals triggered by a contact

The following goals can be triggered by a contact:

  • Web Form Submitted: This goal is used to build a form inside the advanced automation builder.
  • Landing Page: A Keap-hosted web page that can be used to collect leads, sell products, or deliver content.
