In this chapter, we learned how to use STL practices in Go. We also learned how to utilize standard programming algorithms with respect to Go, learned about how containers store data, learned how functions work in Go, and looked at how to use iterators properly. As we continue on our Go performance journey, we should always keep these algorithms, containers, functors, and iterators at the forefront of our choices for writing code. Doing so will help us to write idiomatic Go quickly and concisely. Choosing the proper combination of these STL idioms will help us to manipulate the data that we have in our hands faster and more effectively. In the next chapter, we will learn how to compute vectors and matrices in Go.
