Summary
In this chapter, we have reviewed best practices relating to logging in the cloud. We also reviewed Cloud Logging, a logging service of GCP, and how to enable our applications to use this service. We looked at the creation of custom logs and advanced queries in order to gain more observability across our applications. Finally, we reviewed some real-world examples. In the next chapter, you will learn how to monitor, trace, and debug applications using GCP services that are part of the cloud operations suite.
