The following steps will demonstrate how to perform status checking:
- Update the
home_server

andyour-org.com
to include the following directive:status_check = status-server
- To see how FreeRADIUS sends
Status-Server
packets to a dead server simply shut down the FreeRADIUS server foryour-org.com
and keep on sending authentication requests forbob@your-org.com
to themy-org.com
