Why trading?

Trading is a great career choice as the amount of ISK you can make is completely within your control. If you have a great mind for numbers and spotting trends, then you can be a full-time trader and make lots of ISK. Trading is great if you are a miner or manufacturer, because you have to sell your goods in order to earn a profit. Trading is even useful for a combat pilot; eventually you will want to turn some of those really shiny toys you get from the LP stores into ISK by selling them on the market. As you can see, trading will be useful no matter what you do in EVE.

Trading in its simplest form is the buying and selling of goods on the market for the express purpose of making a profit. As long as you are buying for less and selling for more, you will be making ISK. However, I think we have learned by now that EVE is never that simple. Many even refer to trading as Market PVP.
