The convergence of digital technologies, the expansion of connected devices, and the growing complexity of data types contribute to the exponential evolution of data in enterprises today. The proliferation of connected devices, the IoT, social media, clickstream data, logs, and multimedia-rich applications has intensified the diversity and volume of data being generated. According to a study by Harvard Business Review (HBR), organizations use less than 50% of their structured data for business decisions, while less than 1% of unstructured data is even tapped in [5].
