List of available constraints

In the following table, we are going to list all available built-in constraints in the bean validation 2.0 APIs, with explanations and examples. For more detailed information, you can check the complete bean validation 2.0 API docs:

Constraint	Explanation
@AssertFalse/AssertTrue	Checks whether the annotated element's value is false/true, respectively. The annotated element type might either be boolean (primitive) or Boolean (a primitive wrapper instance).
@DecimalMax/DecimalMin	Checks the value of the annotated element to see whether it's a number whose value must be lower than or equal to the specified maximum (for DecimalMax), or higher than or equal to the specified minimum (for DecimalMin). Supported types are: BigDecimal, BigInteger, String, and byte, short, int, long, and their respective wrappers. Example: @DecimalMax...
