Using external actions for external communications
With external actions, you can start communications outside the app such as starting a phone call, starting an SMS message, or starting an email communication. Additionally, external actions also allow you to open a file stored in cloud storage that is accessible with a URL. You can also use external actions to go to an external website.
External actions for starting an email, a message, or a phone call
The following figure shows the standard settings of a Compose Email action. The action has expressions used in the To, Subject, and Body settings:
