To get started, you must have a version of Delphi installed on your computer. For example, we'll use Delphi Rio, but you can use your version of Delphi as long as it's from Delphi 10 Seattle or a later version. You also need to run a physical Android device or emulator. If you want to test in an Apple environment, you will need a Mac with macOS and an iOS device or simulator. Previous experience of compiling on iOS is also required as it is not covered in this chapter.
