It also emphasized the necessity of ethical issues, technical improvements, and the integration of biometrics and blockchain technology to establish a safe, user-centric, and transparent identity verification ecosystem. The chapter also discussed challenges and considerations in biometric security implementation, such as ethical issues, regulatory compliance, and interoperability, with a focus on biometrics and blockchain’s potential to improve privacy, authenticity, and security in distributed IdM systems.
