Let’s take the next step in our experience and tap into proactive data services and what it means to be proactive with data services.
In the previous section, I thoroughly laid out the path that we’d been considering, as we would learn about and investigate a lot of demands for data modifications from the internal business groups, based on the incoming reactive requests that we received for data creation, data maintenance, or related data cleanup activities.
We would try then to convert those requests into a more intelligent and more proactive approach. In other words, we wouldn’t wait for the business users or the stakeholders to come to us with a defined DQ ask but, instead, learn from already-existing requests, aim to anticipate them, and try to be proactive.
