Troubleshooting Active Directory
In this chapter, we will learn about valuable tools that help you troubleshoot and recover from typical issues experienced when running Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) workloads. We will discuss how to enable and use AD Recycle Bin to restore deleted objects, how to use Directory Services Restore Mode (DSRM) to recover a corrupt AD database and/or corrupted objects, and how to recover the SYSVOL
folder and files necessary for running AD services.
