Adding your AWS account to an AWS organization

You must first add your AWS account to an AWS organization that has all features enabled (not just consolidated billing). The AWS organization account owner will need to invite you to join the organization, at which point, you can choose to accept the invitation from the AWS organization dashboard within the AWS Management Console. Alternatively, you could set up the AWS organization yourself on your own account.
