In this chapter, we looked at Enterprise Territory Management and explored how it affects solution design and sharing on the Salesforce platform. We now understand how territory management can affect data model design and how record sharing is affected. We walked through a couple of examples to bring these points home and emphasized why it is crucial that data model design, sharing, and other factors relating to the setup of your Salesforce instance are evaluated thoroughly before implementing territory management.
